umm… bad news?

So I woke up the other day and noticed this small mark on my leg.
I have never cut , burned or bruised this spot in my life
Saw my primary doctor and he said it is not normal so I am scheduled to see a dermatologist later
This is what normal skin looks like under a microscope

Any follow up on this? Perhaps a spider bite? Some spiders have venom that kills the sub-dermal layer of skin, the process for that is called necrosis fasciitis. Usually caused by bacteria, but you can have a small (or severe) infliction from the bite in some species of a spider’s venom.
