New Toy: Plotter

I got a HP 7475A plotter cheep on ebay :)
at first I thought it was broken…
This was the windows test page lol! Looks like the printer is on LSD
Took a bit to figure it out
Then VICTORY!!
Key is the plotter cant plot faster then the data input after 2400 baud speeds and the buffer over flows and starts to overwrite the memory in the plotter
I hacked one of the pens that came with the plotter with the insides of a sharpie then started my attempt to plot boards :)
SUCCESS!! this is a version of my i2c fram breakout board :). I left it in the acid bath too long so the copper was very thin.

Its an easy mod to allow full sized pens into these plotters.

How many times are you running the pen across to get good etches?
(or are you using pen speed)?
