I wanted to try and make my own transistors and diodes, and see what I could make with things you can find in your house. So I purchased some reject wafers / tests on ebay cheep. (close to 20 lbs worth :D )


Trying to figure out a simple way to test what type of coatings these have, type of silicon used etc.

Thinking of a simple 4 point resistance test or a 4×4 point test :D
Anyone have a better way to test?
After I can determine their properties next big challenge is building a furnace to grow silicon oxide :)
